After the war on religions, hydrogen bombs destroyed a major part of civilization. However, due to good documentation, technology and civilization soon got on its feet again. As an effect of the bombs, religion got banned and the world was split into new countries. These had more primitive governments, but the technology still blossomed somehow.   During the Final War, some countries used dirty tricks and dropped atomic bombs, resulting in animals mutating.
