Causes

environmental: plants wither and turn black but don't die. creatures: look and act tired but eat a lot. humans: feel queasy, sometimes cant feel pain. all: very faint black lines appear on organism.

Symptoms

their iris(colored bit of the eye) turns black, while the white of the eye get black veins, they weaken drastically in strength but increase in intelligence, will gain the ability to see peoples souls, and begin to forget things frequently.

Treatment

kill "the tainted" before they are completely overcome.

Prevention

if you are already tainted.

Epidemiology

depends where it happens: if it starts in the food 1- 6 people would get tainted before they find out and stop the rest of the tainted food from being eaten, if from water the entire town will be on alert because they found a plant that they grow in the water for this reason will be withered and then the town will be on lock down, but even so they cant stop it once it starts.
