Halfling
Basic Information
Anatomy
Halflings look like small humans, with the same bone structure and the same level of strength, disproportionate to their size. The main differences are the thicker hair, thicker skin on their feet that allows them to walk barefoot, and larger lungs for their size, useful for breathing the thinner air at the high altitudes they prefer and for singing, which they love.
Ecology and Habitats
Halflings are equally comfortable in houses or burrows like a gnome. They live in small pastoral communities outside of cities. Halflings in cities quickly know the names of everyone living around them and continue to treat their neighbourhoods like their traditional villages.
Additional Information
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Halflings do not travel far from their home in the Kalpurni heartlands. It is rare to find out outside of the country of Kalpurn, though they are widespread within it.
