Dragonborn

Metallic dragonborn are mostly centred in Zarokieth where their priests continue the worship of Bahamut in ritualistic ceremonies based around the dragon god’s remains, although most worship him as an equal to the other gods. People outside of Zarokeith tend to be wary of them as they don’t leave the island frequently and are a rarity on the mainland. Chromatic dragonborn are more common in the north towards the Spine. While they have a reputation as agents of Chaos and Tiamat, few truly are nowadays and want to become part of society. Other types of dragonborn, such as catastrophic, are rarer and usually the cause of mutations among other dragonborn populations.

Social Structure

Strictly hierarchical, based on wealth. Harking back to their draconic ancestry, dragonborn have a habit of collecting a horde of treasure. This is based in physical wealth and they distrust banking. Dragonborn who care about such things wear small metal bars on their chest above their hearts, with the number and material of bars being representative of their wealth.
