Kalikata

This is not a land that the gods have forgotten it is a land that forgot the glory of the gods.   Religion is not openly practiced here. The gods left them trapped by the tumultuous ocean and hurt by the abandonment, and the gods have not been forgiven.   Completely isolated the collective memory of anything outside Kalikata has faded as the general disdain of the gods who trapped and abandoned them grew.   Thankfully, this land is diverse and sustainable and the average citizen need not worry about land beyond Kalikata, if there even is any.   There are large cities scattered along the cost with one greater than the rest. This is where the collage of learning is. A huge school where knowledge is pursued with passion. The collage recruits from across the land with their very selective "silver masks", an elite group tasked with being the schools eyes, ears and hands in the world.   The southern most part of the island is mountains and cold only inhabited by the most hardy of races. They are between two opposites, desert on the inner side and ocean on the other.   The innermost areas of the island are densely forested and feircly protected by the fae. The forest is uninhabitable by the major races. They have learned, however, that it must be respected.
