The Revolution Speech

After the siege of Aeswick Keep and the eventual destruction of the keep in the Last Uprising, the leader of the rebellion, Zigran Turoc took a stand on the destroyed remains of the keep wall. One of the casters of the rebellion amplified Zigran’s voice and the half orc gave his speech to the people of Trisza and Kaigan. Scribes took this message and within days it was spread all over the nation, reaching even the nomadic groups in the [name] desert.

The Speech

The beginning of Zigran’s speech talks about the recent conflicts, elaborating about he difficult times everyone has had during the revolution and the difficult years before that. This part of the speech elaborates on the losses the people have had. About the brave people that were punished or killed by the nobles both during the various conflicts as in the peaceful years in between where the nobles that supported Aeswick sought all kinds of ways to display their dominance over the common folk by finding all kinds of absurd reasons for punishments.   This next part talks about the various groups that acted during the different uprisings, explaining the various tactics used by groups and the methods that were effective. It talks about the courage all the people of Kaigan have shown and the resilience that has held them together and fighting that has lead them to this victory over the noble house of Aeswick. Zigran also tells stories of the people he has met over the years leading this rebellion, both good and bad stories of communities all around Kaigan.   Lastly, Zigran talks about the next steps that will be taken. He talks about the change from a nation that is ruled by a king to a democracy. He elaborates about the council he wants to put together from people of all parts of Kaigan and how they will be chosen. About the difficulties that this transition period will face.   Zigran ends with thanking all people of Kaigan for their support and their perseverance that they have shown in the last eleven years during the various conflicts. He also askes of all people to lend their patience and more support whilst they all rebuild the country together, making it a better place for all.

This is a very good speech to give to a tired group of people who've been fighting, especially since they've been fighting for eleven years, according to the speech! :)

Thanks! Yeah I tried to make it both a good conclusion as well as inspiring, but it was difficult to write a good speech, good to know it came across right ^^ If you want to know more, the whole conflict is linked in the intro paragraph :)
