I hope this report finds you well, Obets-Na.
The incidents and altercations of this week are enclosed, we await any potential correspondence.
The incidents and altercations of this week are enclosed, we await any potential correspondence.
- Widespread harassment reports about Shadowguard activity, where they were active in Hill Borough, Belltown, Iron Heart Garrison and Guboah Village (almost the entire city). Consistent detail across individual reports state they were accosted in search of fugitives from the republic, with no helpful identification or description given, just to be on the lookout for "suspicious activity".
- Incident revolving around two drunken individuals in Guboah Village. Exterior of the Adventurer's Guild Hall saw two merchants starting a wager on goods, with the intended goal to remove and steal the establishment's sign. The winner was to receive a bolt of silk for their deed. Individuals reprimanded.
- A merchant from port city Feist reported the theft of his entire cart of goods, containing a hundred or so pounds of fish. Search was conducted, and the fish was located in a massive pile amidst the town market, where it had been dumped in the middle of the street. Reporting guard implies she believes the merchant had visited Ezaph's Mystery just prior to the incident, but could not verify based upon smell for obvious reasons.
- Defacing of a shrine in Heavenbounds. Several articles from the shrine of Nevale reported to be missing, including the contents of the donation box (twenty two gold coins), offering bowl (an additional seven gold coins and an incense stick), and a copy of "The Shield of the Ground-Shaker". The shrine itself had been partially knocked over, which blocked off the reporting individual when they tried to enter.
- A newcomer to the town from the Espharre Dominion came to the local apothecary to request painkillers for a headache. Apothecary reports this occurrence out of concern for the circumstances and woman in question, as the Espharran says she had awoken in the town graveyard with no memory of how she had gotten there.
- A Bol-Ohenti refugee from the republic claims- in their report to Iron Heart Infirmary- that something has caused them to physically age a year. Checkup performed by a cleric of Maleo confirms this is the case, but the cause has not been identified.
- An Asarro refugee currently residing in Guboah Village reports a theft of sixty (60) gold pieces by a Mahonne-Rhaja woman. Claims that he was approached by an elderly Asarro woman who requested the money as a donation to a local hospital in the area that was experiencing financial issues due to the republic's current state. After the transaction occurred, he turned to witness a Falen woman where the Asarro woman had been. Making chase only resulted in losing track of her. Reporting man is demanding financial compensation.
- An empty scroll case was turned in to the town's item recollection service, discovered under a bench in Ezaph's Mystery.
- The floating house in Lo'deh Bol Rash was reported to move a foot higher off the ground than normal, then return to its default state. Cursory check found no change. Observation suggested for any potential changes in the future.
- An assault was reported in Hill Borough. Witnesses report the assailant was a scrawny Asarro man who appeared to select a random target from the crowd present at Eukad Amphitheater. Victim was treated in Iron Heart Infirmary, and the assailant is presently held in the city jail.
- Shadowguard Captain Masha reported an altercation at mid-day, where a stone was thrown at the back of his head by an unknown assailant while he was questioning a merchant en-route to the republic. Assailant has still not been identified. This is the third time this week.
- Over a dozen unrelated individuals from Belltown reported a feeling of unease to guards stationed in the area. Aforementioned guards have gone on to state while they assuaged the fears of the uneasy people, they too felt a distinct sense of unease that they could not identify the cause of. The performance of a spell has not been ruled out, and an investigation is pending.
- The regularly reported shouting match between shop owner Kei'Aana and Dasoha in Hat Eituz occurred around mid-day, with the usual guard (Hoorenk Re'na) coming to delegate over the argument and assure no blows were traded.
- A warning was issued to a potential thief present in Hat Eituz, while the previous incident was still occurring. Another member of Lo'deh Bol Rash's guard detail was dispatched to end the argument, instead witnessing what seemed to be an in-process attempt to pocket merchandise. As the aforementioned potential thief was a youngling, he only received a reprimand. His guardians made purchase of the goods in question.
Wishing you well,
-Mahasto
My apologies if any of the enclosed reports are incorrect, feel free to request a corrected copy with the Garrison scribe if this is the case.
The last one was rather interesting. Not the youngest I've seen, but he was eyeing a divine focus. Skylaer. From what Kesha'eh tells me, they're about to head into the republic.
I do not know your mind, but I know mine and my thoughts. I wish them luck. I hope she will protect them where others will not.
