The Ilin family is pleasant to look at, but very inedible. They can cause severe indigestion, vomiting and diarrhea when any part is consumed.
APPEARANCE
A medium sized plant that commonly comes to one's waist, with many branches that hold up to a dozen flowers each.
The flowers themselves come off the branches in clustered rows of threes, and are only two inches in diameter.
Each flower possesses six thick petals that end at a rounded rectangular shape.
The Ilin flower family has divergences that make it appear in varying colors.
White is the most common color, followed by yellow and a soft pink. Other colors are less common local variants depending on your specific location.
