Therozinosaurs
Threat Level: High
Unlike their mainland counterparts, the slow witted Jotunheim Therozinosaurs have developed a primarily omnivores diet, resembling that of bears as opposed to their grazing cousins. Using their sickle like claws for foraging, battling, defense, and offense.Due to their new lifestyle, they have become much slimmer then their cousins that we are familiar with, allowing for quick bursts of speed. But even with their deceptively fast movements for such a large creature, they are still MUCH slower than other predators. This has led to them becoming more opportunistic in nature, eating anything and everything that they can find. Unfortunately, also akin to bears, this behavior has caused many to wander in or around settlements, where they forage through rubbish, eat crops and even occasionally dine on the inhabitants.
It is currently unknown why exactly they developed this new lifestyle, with many having hypothesized over this very question. The more popular theory being as follows:
Due in part to their naturally aggressive behavior, and the abundance of prey and predators on Jotunheim, it’s become more beneficial to switch to a more omnivorous diet, as the competition is steep, and passing a meal can be costly. Additionally, with as many predators as they must encounter, and being able to dispatch a large majority of them, they would be better served eaten then passed.
