Geography
From the Gloomveil Gulf, to the Iridescent Sea, the Dark Peaks stand as both bastion and border against the churning darkness of the Shadowfell. Nestled betwixt the two mountain ranges lay the sole entrance into the godless lands, the Twisted Valley. A bramble strewn hellscape, whose appearance and terror is but a fraction of the promised hell that is promised beyond. Should you value any life you may yet hold, or have a god yet to pray for, then pray you never learn more.
Ecosystem
None but the Black Watch know of what lay in the Twisted Valley, or of what lay in the peaks themselves. What is known, however, is that when the very stone and rock have not gone untainted by the shadows.
Localized Phenomena
Bordering the Shadowfell, the Dark Peaks exude a dark sense of dread and evil. From its pores, the darkness beyond itself seeps from the crisscrossed cave entrances that lead to its damnable other side.
Fauna & Flora
Monster and beasts roam the deformed mass of blackened stone, with Fell Beasts circling its heights and nesting its crags. Whatever else lay here, only the Black Watch and its Fell-Men may know.
