Signing of the Spine-Dale Concord

Diplomatic action

The cessation of the War of Reclamation, and the creation of new free land, out of what was once the Dale.

With both Skjorn and Sylmaris faced with the death of many of their most trusted soldiers, and fearing more casualties, they settled on a compromise known as the Spine-Dale Concord.   The Humans would cease their invasion, returning North and the Elves would keep only their southernmost cities, forming them in to a new nation; Elturgard. The Dale that was so contested, broke apart, and the centre would become freeland, belonging to neither state, named; The Sword Coast.   Instantly, brave pioneers rushed in to establish control of the settlements, and new cities sprung up across the coast. For over a thousand years each city on the Sword Coast managed to live in relative peace and cooperation, with some even becoming quite prosperous.
