Festival of Isran

The Festival of Isran is a yearly festival held in Raha, in which an offering is made by political leaders to Isran.
Originally the festival was a means of asking Isran to maintain the Glimmer Canal, thus providing Raha with a bountiful harvest in the coming year. In modern days however, the festival has gained a political significance, as offerings are made by both the Vizier of Raha and the local Tebtai Ambassador, as a symbol of unity between the two nations.

Execution

The Vizier of Raha and the local Tebtai Ambassador, are taken by barge to the centre of the Glimmer Canal, and with citizens gathered on the bank, will drop offerings in to the water.

Observance

The Festival is observed at the start of Winterclaw, the second month.
