Joia

Joia is a land of many facets. Most important for the average adventuring party would be the steady growth of resentment and disinterest from the general public about the adventuring lifestyle. Many see it as too dangerous for themselves and most believe adventures to be much too powerful than should be accepted.   It is also a world in the midst of change. Technology always progresses, and Joia has reached the industrial age. Villages are being abandoned for the cities, and many now work in factories enchanted by magic.   Lastly, upheaval has come for the continent. It is only five days ago that the God of Death disappeared, leading to a 12 hour period of immortality for all, only stopped when a new God of Death, the former God of Graveyards, Rot and Worms, took the job. This has left many to wonder what happened to the old God, and if any other God will follow in their footstep.
