One hundred and fifty is young for an Elf, yet Iraeon "Avakiir" d'Phiarlan has already achieved more than many Elves will in an entire lifetime. The youngest son of the oldest Dragonmarked House, Iraeon strives to be like the others in his family. A general of Breland during the last war, Iraeon saw much bloodshed and contributed to a fair amount of it himself. An agent of the Twelve, Iraeon seeks out trade, peace, and cooperation between the nations of Khorvaire, and now more recently, with the nations of the Ashen continent.

Religious Views

Iraeon was once a devout believer in the Undying Court, but has since strayed from total devotion, seeking to find his own path. Remnants of his old ways still remain though, his views on the Evil Undead specifically remain unchanged. He has a deep loathing and hatred of monsters such as Zombies, Skeletons, and Vampires most of all. He also has differing views on the afterlife than the teachings of the Court, as he believes that those that die naturally of old age or sickness, such as his late wife Ophelia, should be peacefully allowed to rest in the afterlife. In the reverse, he believes that those that die in an unnatural fashion, such as those murdered or unfairly slain, should be given the opportunity to retake and live their lives if given the opportunity. He can be seen wearing a pendant of the court, a golden skull encrusted with two sapphire eyes, which he often whispers prayer to.

Mannerisms

Iraeon has a few mannerisms that he's never quite been able to rid himself of. He often tilts his head to the right side when unconsciously thinking about something that interests him, where as a raised eyebrow might indicate something that is causing him concern. His eyes also give away his desire to understand all that he sees, and his minds unique ability to catalogue and store massive amounts of information at a time, this might manifest in his eyes constantly and rapidly darting about a room to take it all in. Iraeons most noticeable mannerism though, is that when Iraeon feels that someone has or is or will be a threat to him or his loved ones, he'll narrow his eyes. He also narrows his eyes when taking something in, which reflects his internal opinion that everything unknown is a threat to him.

Hobbies & Pets

Iraeon adopted Ros the Almiraj on the 7th of Sypheros in the year 998YK. Although they have only been together for a little over a week, in that time Iraeon and Ros have formed a deep connection. Ros was very shy, choosing to hide away from the loud noises and harsh smells of the world, and fearing open spaces most of all. Since being adopted by Iraeon Ros has thrived, fully shedding off her fears, to the point that Iraeon has promised that when he buys his property, that it'll have a large garden for her to play in. It is clear that they share a deep love for each other.

Speech

The most noticeable aspect of Iraeons common is it's deepness, it shares a tonal commonality with his Dwarven, more than Elvish, as when learning common, Iraeon would elongate his vowels, causing his vocal pattern to form around that. His Elvish is tonally opposite, airy and light on the ears like his Sylvan, which is like a bubbling river, with trees rustling around it. His Infernal is like a burning fire, with noticeable snapping and popping when he speaks it.
