Humans are very prejudiced against the demons and have a healthy respect/fear of the sakami. Many have dropped any sort of religious practices though some still practice some of the more prominent religions of the age before the apocalypse. Many were or are enrolled in the demon hunter’s academy though most want nothing to do with the demons. Those in positions of power still have most of the technology from before the apocalypse while those lower in rank may have some or none at all. Human villages are sparse throughout the world and often have fewer than 50,000 people, though the largest has 200,000, and they often contain only certain ethnic groups based on the area the village was started in.
