Banshiguana

Small forest lizards that look cute and harmlessthat are largely feared by everyone due to their capability of mass destruction through their high-frequency shrieks.

Basic Information

Anatomy

They have large, sticky feet, smooth, scaly skin and an iguana-like body.

Ecology and Habitats

They live in large groups in forests, and hang on branches from their tails while they sleep. When disturbed, they emit a high-pitched, resonating shriek powerful enough to crack stone.

Dietary Needs and Habits

They feed on insects using their long sticky tongues.

The social hierarchy is determined by familial position as they live in large family units

Domestication

While an individual's shriek is not as destructive as a whole group, it is still capable of bursting people's eardrums when startled. Therefore they are rarely kept as pets.
