Ward of Markham Dorrestal

Maras is both quiet and fierce. She is the daughter of a former companion of Markham Dorrestal and Surovy Donegal, he having his life taken during a raid on an orc encampment. She has a burning hatred for all orcs as a result. She tends to be aloof until she gets to know someone, and has a deep respect for nature and those who revere it.
She is currently residing in the House of Secrets in Darnagal desperately awaiting the verdict of her master Markham who is charged with the murder of Surovy. Maras maintains her master's innocence. Not only can she attest to the bond of friendship between the two, she can also claim he was in the House of Secrets at the time of the murder.
