Sešin
Sešin is the capital of Sešiniá, acting both as the seat of government, as well as the major shipping port for ships loading goods for transport to the east, as well as receiving goods from ships from there.
Wealthy merchants and long distance shipping companies all have a presence here. This is where arriving goods will be sold to the highest bidder, directly from the shipping companies.
The rich enjoy the many luxuries that the city provides, including theatres, music halls, ballrooms, and exotic restaurants.

Guilds and Factions
By far the most dominant guild are the traders, as they control the prices for the imported goods sold across the continent, and those bought and exported. Due to the volume of transactions passing through, they tend to pay much of the taxes and upkeep of the city. Rumours are that they keep government officials in line with lobbying, occasional gifts and perhaps even bribes for favourable laws that maintain their grip as the dominant financial power.
A secondary power are the sea trading companies. They ultimately control the goods travelling by sea, and have some say in the price of the goods that they carry, especially for the risks they run in doing so. However, competition can be fierce between companies, leading to races to be the first to deliver new goods; first to do so commanding the highest prices.
Goods are carried between Sešin and the rest of Unai via horse and oxen caravans. This work tends to be the lowest rewarded amoungst the trading guilds.
Architecture
Worked white and red detail stoneworking present a picture of affluence in many of the central portions of the city where the guildhouses and government reside. Domes and arches abound as local builders and architects compete for the most impressive establishments, frequently incorporating internal courtyards that shade from the frequently hot weather.
The central city has a few plazas, which are the focal points for celebrations.
The city has few parks (which are typically small), preferring instead wide avenues with well maintained gardens - acting as pleasant scenery for those travelling throughout the main routes of the city.
Geography
Sešin is nestled comfortably near an estuary that provides it with clean water, and a well sheltered bay that provides shipping with safe harbour in even the roughest storms. Its position in Unai provides good overland routes for goods travelling in and out.
Natural Resources
Nearby fields and orchards provide subsistance food for local workers.
