Grinfiddeus Nobbles

Grinfiddeus grew up in Waterdeep the son of a gifted scribe to a powerful wizard and a royal alchemist in the court. He was gifted in his ability to soak up knowledge, and quickly became addicted to stories of the arcane and the occult. Using his connections, he acquired apprenticeship as a scribe to a prominent enchanter at the prestigious Blackstaff Academy. Through his days of being overworked and underpaid, he was rewarded with secrets and ancient knowledge of all sorts of magical items, spells, and wards. He became something of an authority on these subjects, and he loved sharing his knowledge and telling stories of items with great power hidden behind arcane traps. He would often frequent the Waterdhavian pubs, sharing his knowledge over a pint or three. Recently, he has been known to travel with adventurers, consulting with them and providing his knowledge to help keep them safe. He is not stellar in combat, but his ability to identify traps and bad situations is uncanny. He is always willing to share his knowledge with those who share in his love of the arcane.
