Dianera's standing army is made up of levies from noble houses as well as recruits from around the country. They're garrisoned across the country and regularly patrol trade routes and roads.

The most common weaponry for the Dianeran Army's infantry consists of swords, axes, shields, and polearms.

Structure

Dianera's Royal army uses standard ranks from Private to the General of the Army. Heads of noble houses are granted the title "Lord General" and can exercise authority and power over their levies in times of war.

Training

Training for the Dianeran army can vary between the levied soldiers of the army and common recruits. Many times, the army is a dumping ground for third and fourth sons looking for glory and poor citizens looking for pay and three free meals.
