Temaro
A small settlement on the eastern edge of the Emerald woods that services the larger city of Barvosua by providing labor, and fishing to the city.
The settlement is one of the largest in the Emerald Woods that contains the largest elven population whom are often slaves that serve the nobles, and citizens of Bravosua. The village is filled with fishermen, huntsmen, and others that provide labor for the lumber industry of Barvosua.
Fishing is the major export for Temaro as they provide much of the food that winds up on the tables in Barvosua and supports the village itself with vital food. This is especially important in the winter when food is at its scarcest. Most of the elves in the village end up taking up the trade of their fathers and mothers in supporting the city of Barvosua and doing the various jobs that many of the humans of Barvosua want no part in.
The labor pool is another important resource as elves seem to accrue fewer accidents in regular lumber activities and in ironwood gathering as well. With a mix of their delicate hands and spell-like abilities are able to gather a large number of wood. The only advantage that the other races have over them are the sheer number that can be afforded to be lost. However most foremen chosoe to hire on elves anyway seeing it that in the long run it is better to have fewer trees to perserve a larger skilled workforce for themesleves.
However, elves within the empire are in decline in general but a growing population of half-elves has been seen growing and most of them find their way into the empire's forces with many ending up at the Croma Arcanum. Temarao currently sits at a population of 4000 elves.
