Ice Render Tribe
The Ice Render tribe is one of the more powerful tribes of Vindenfel. Under the leadership of their queen Eivor, they have brought many smaller, weaker tribes under their banner as vassals now their land encompasses a large portion of the eastern side of the region.
History
The Ice Render tribe has only recently found its success in the world.
Following her father Bastian's death Eivor was made Queen of the Ice Render tribe and whilst encamped next to the river Loik she dreamt of a cave that would lead her people into a great golden age.
Interpreting this as a divine message Eivor ordered her people to settle in for the winter and begin a search for the cave of her dreams, after a week of fruitless searching Eivor and her people were beginning to lose hope but on the final day as the sun rose in the east Eivor's scouts saw the outline of a previously hidden cave illuminated against the rock face.
Before long the tribe had begun searching and found huge veins of gold, iron and silver running through the caves. Once the Ice Render tribe began to mine the deposits their luck increased tenfold. Only one winter following the caves discovery the Urdinian republic first made contact with the tribal people and showed great interest in acquiring the precious jewellery the Ice Renders were producing in scores.
Thus the trade began bringing in superior weapons, clothing and other resources for the tribe which Eivor once again interpretted as a message from the gods and her interests began to turn to expansion.
The Ice Render had begun to encourage interest from their neighbouring rivals who desired their gold. Utilizing her Urdinian arms and armour Eivor led her people in a pre-emptive battle against the neighbouring tribe of Red Streams. Their victory was swift and decisive as many of the Red Streams were taken unaware by the superior power of their neighbours.
This pattern followed for two more tribes before Eivor begun recieving message from other tribes who wished for peace with the Queen if they were to swear fealty to her.
Eivor was at least merciful to these people and accepted their offers, welcoming them with open arms into the Ice Render tribe.
Now wiser the young Queen uses a mixture of military superiority and political know-how to keep her vassals in check as well as the neighbouring tribes.
Demography and Population
The Ice Render tribe are almost entirely human though they do have a few elves and half elves but both are highly uncommon.
Territories
The Ice Render tribe controls a large portion of the eastern shore of Vindenfel, mostly through making vassals of smaller nearby tribes.
Military
The Ice Render tribe do not have a trained military instead almost every member of the tribe is trained to fight and when the tribe goes to war it involves practically the entire tribe.
Technological Level
Compared to mainland cultures the Ice Render tribe is backwards and savage however compared to many of their tribal cousins across the land they are highly advanced and a force to be reckoned with.
Religion
Though all of Isonia shares one religion, the interpretation of those gods varies by culture and to the Ice Render this is represented through shamanism and tribal spirituality.
Foreign Relations
The Ice Render tribe owes part of it's success to their Queen's relationship with other nations, they trade frequently with the Urdinian Republic and some other sea-faring cities. The Queen is known to have friends amongst the council of Urdine.
Agriculture & Industry
The Ice Render tribe are one of the few settled tribes of Vindenfel and as such in their capital city of Iceni there are farms to feed their populace. There is however little industry beyond the miners, goldsmiths and blacksmiths as like most Vindenfel tribes the Ice Renders shun most technology.
Trade & Transport
Through their relations with the Urdine the Ice Render tribe has a small trading fleet of small ships which is unique amongst the Vindenfel tribes. Though they are not up to most cultures standards to have boats alone is a major feat to the tribes.
The rich mineral deposits located in the mountains of the Ice Renders have become a major resource to the tribe and they utilise it to create beautiful pieces of jewellery.
Education
All of the tribe is given an oral tradition but the tribe does not have a formal education structure, instead they learn from tribal elders and family.
Infrastructure
Compared to the mainland Ice Render building leaves much to be desired for, most of the buildings are simple wooden structures with little space inside that serve their purpose and leave little comforts.

Like many of the tribes, the Ice Renders do not generally use a set currency system however their trading with outside influences has encouraged them to take coin as payment which they can ultimately exchange with foreign powers.

The Ice Renders jewellery is a prized possession on the mainland and their mineral rich ores are also a popular product.
Major Imports
The Ice Render tribe has no need for much outside influences but do take in better quality weapons and armours as well as some fabrics and foods.
Legislative Body
The Queen and her council pass laws at their own discretion, though generally speaking they are not a people of many laws.
