Telkathir

This is a race of elves are that have a few similarities to their Ellavara brethren. They were actually the Ellavara before the Ellavara were established. The country they call home is Telka which is a desert like biome home to many canyons and drier plain like farmland. The most notable feature of the Telkathir culture is their passion for violence and their love to learn about all the fighting styles the world has to offer. If there is a fighting style that is known it is practically guaranteed that the Telkathir have already learned it or are on the path of studying it. It is also possible that most of the fighting styles that are popularized were crafted from the Telkathir or, at least, is known because of their involvement. It goes without saying that the Telkathir are a fierce foe to be involved with. Hence why the Ellavara keep them close to their side for not only because they are family but they are integral to their survival.

Culture

Shared customary codes and values

They love the act and display of violence and war. For most cases if their loved one's death is gruesome and "flashy" affair it as seen as a great honor to die with such a spectacle. They do not share this ideal with a traumatic death, such as a death in childbirth. This race also likes public executions, and there is even an occupation to make an execution into a spectacle. Where the Ellavara have theatres, the Telkathir have executions.

Common Etiquette rules

Their etiquette is one most cultures say not to do. In other words, they are very blunt and to the point and they see hiding anything or holding anything back as disrespectful.

Common Dress code

As their motto goes, "Always come dressed for battle."

Funerary and Memorial customs

A funeral pyre is usually held for most deaths, even the one's that don't have a body to burn.

Beauty Ideals

The more scars and wear to ones visage or body in general is seen as attractive. Also, when one gets older the more wrinkles and age that is shown is proof that one has seen a lot of hardships during their time. This too is an ideal that the Telkathir strive for.

Gender Ideals

Males: Have a broader chest, large hands, broader shoulders, and bigger/flat feet. Height varies between 5" 8 to 6 feet. Females: Have thicker thighs and a muscular bosom, they also possess big hands and feet but are smaller than the male counterpoint. Height varies between 5" 5 to 5" 10
