Yamise

A small but sprawling village along a river inlet, Yamise is populated heavily with pseudodragons and cats.

Demographics

The population is pretty evenly split between psuedodragons and cats. Their similarities mean they can live and work very peacefully together.

Government

There really isn't much governance in Yamise. They follow the laws enacted by Queen Nymez, but otherwise families rule their own.

Defences

The only defenses are the numerous families of cats and dragons respectively living along the rivers edge.

Industry & Trade

The powders are highly prized by the Weavers of Bevel and wizards from Chiron. Sometimes even members of Ironclad desire the delicate powders for their experiments.

Infrastructure

Most of the buildings are made of riversticks and woven grass roofs. A majority of the construction was done by the able handed dragons, where as the designs were concocted by cats with an eye for individual spaces.

Assets

The riverside is one of the few places in Gho where rare insects gather. Depending on what they have eaten, they create different colored carapace that can be used for dyes and magical components. The cats and dragons that live in Yamise have become very adept at catching, drying, and powdering the insects to produce vibrant, condensed powders.

Architecture

Buildings are extremely basic and minimalistic as neither cats nor dragons care much for their aesthetics as they do for their functionality.

Geography

Due to its low lying nature, on occasion, Yamise floods. As such there is a secondary village placed out of the flood zone.

Natural Resources

Special insects that occasionally have magical properties and can always be used as dyes.
