Tormur
"He who weaves lightning through the skies"
The Stormweaver
Among the many spirits that occupy the Jotunar pantheon, none stand above Tormur. To the Jotunar Tormur embodies the fury and chaos of the storms themselves and these qualities exemplify Tormur himself. He is believed to be quick to anger but precise with his strikes. He embodies great change and ushers in diversity, for better or worse.
Many of the other Jotunn peoples worship Tormur but to a much lesser degree and his power and influence wax and wane across the different clans. While Tormur is the head of the Jotunar pantheon, he stands as a more mediocre power among the Frost Giants, however, the Stone Jotunn view him in a much different light. To the Stone Giants Tormur is a powerful trickster spirit, one no wise Jotunn should trust nor anger. This has led to a growing resentment between the Jotunar and Jotunkyn but given the great distances that separate them, very few mundane conflicts have ever occurred.

Tenets of Faith
The tenets of Tormur vary from clan to clan and especially between the Jotunn peoples. Generally Jotunar follow these tenets: First and foremost, follow the the currents of the storm but do not let its rage consume you, second, respect the Thunder Strix for it is the messenger of Tormur's will, lastly, respect change regardless of outcome and oppose the corruption of stasis.
Holidays
The Day of Tempests is one of celebration, worship, and pure electrical carnage. On the Day of Tempests shamans in each clan gather to summon a great storm, one that could never form naturally, that envelopes the mountain peaks the Jotunar call home. The rest of the clans gather at their peaks to feast, worship Tormur, and compete in variety of games and contests.

Personal history
It is believed that Tormur was born in the first storm, when the first lightning bolt struck the young earth. He arose from the ash and cinder and as a second bolt tore through the sky Tormur reached out and it heeded his call. In that moment he and the storms became one.
In the time of the ancient Jotunn Empire Tormur stood as one as the chief elemental deities and patron of war. It is said when the Jotunn Empire began its decline that the skies grew quiet and Tormur was displeased by the Empire's weakness. Before the Empire had truly fallen a sect of Jotunn had seceded and worshipped Tormur above all, thus the Jotunar were born, the true followers of the tempests.
For ages to come Tormur would fall out of favor among the Stone and Frost Jotunn but never fully lose his authority. Among the Jotunar however, he rose to the apex of their pantheon. For centuries more he would guide his more devout worshippers during the Age of Divinity.
His spiritual guidance would one day end when the Ventara invaded Illyium and wrought such devastation that all of the Divines grew silent. The Jotunar, along with many Iskarans, wait for the day of their gods return.
