Weepingfall

Weepingfall is one of the largest cities on Isildur. It was once a metropolis were the races of the world gathered during the time of the gods, Weepingfall was so full of riches and splendor that it got the nickname The City of Splendor, unfortunately, the city has fallen from grace. However the legendary reputation of the city makes it so that travelers and adventurers want to see this grand city, or so they believe. The city is full of lycanthropic guilds that kill without mercy.   Districts Weepingfall is divided into 7 districts or wards. They are the following. The Dock Ward The Blood Ward The Stone Ward The Thorn Ward The Market Ward The Slums The Catacombs/sewers   The Dock Ward This is Weepingfalls port and where most of the trade gets delivered. The Dock Ward has a lot of bear, boar, and rat territory, the most famous territory in the Dock Ward is a guild of weretigers called the Tiger eye.   The Blood Ward The northernmost ward of the city the blood ward is where the ruler of Weepingfall resides in the castle called Bloodwall. Here the most powerful of the lycanthrope guilds battle to see how can rule the city, but make no mistake traveler The Lord of Blood is the true ruler even though some lycanthropes claim otherwise.    The Stone Ward The Stone Ward is the biggest Ward and the main fighting ground for the lycanthropic guilds. In truth, the entire Ward is a warzone. Dozens of lycanthropes die for one block as rivals defend their guild with a frightening ferocity.   The Thorn Ward This area in the east section of the city is called the Thorn Ward. It is famous for the plants that are allowed to grow in this ward. But that is not all this ward is famous for. For at night illuminated by the full moon blood finds its way down the cobblestone streets, a well-known fact of the city is that The Thorne Ward is lycanthropes favorite hunting ground for the plants that grow they are giving them a sense of being in the wild.    The Market Ward The Market Ward is in the venture of the city and all gods inside the city eventually make it on for sale in the market. The Vistani have a small camp, this one is not as big as their camp in The Thorne Ward. Most of the market is empty and abandoned wears. The exception is a small area in the center of the market where the Vistani have their camp.   The Slums The slums have the largest population of wererats and normal people. The slums are the trash heap of the entire city, former lycanthropic slaves, rouge lycanthropes, and monsters. The slums are filled with the lost and the desperate it is an easy hunting ground for new lycanthropes. Many none Lycanthropes flee this ward and either join the Thorn or the Vistani, those who join neither fear for their lives every night and most don't last out the week.   The Catacombs/Sewers Like most cities on Isildur Weepingfall has a problem with corpses so the cities sewers are also its catacombs. The almost unchallenged rulers of this ward are the wererats for the only threat they face are from other monsters such as Otyhogs, gibering mouthers, and any other dungen innhabating creature. People how are afflicted with the curse of insatiabul greed within the city often become leaders of wererat gangsand use the monsters of the catacombs to their full advantage.   Dark Domain Annyone how enters Weepingfall is trapped within the city until the Lord of Blood least them out or he dies. A gray mist surondes the city and anyone how enters it often don't come out, those how do speak of walking in circles and the mist dranig their strength. Becuse the Lord of Blood created the dark domain then he can place whatever rules he sees fit. Lycanthropes find that their claws become magical allowing them to kill others of their kind, every night a full moon rises over the city and most lycanthropes go feral at night.

Demographics

The number of races is spread quite evenly, but there are no Dragonborn and only one Undying within the city.    The city is divided into two classes you are either prey or predator. You become a predator when you can kill most prey and you become prey when predators can kill you.

Government

the leader of the city is the Lord of Blood he is the most powerful figure in the city, he has a council of six lycanthrope guild masters how are the most powerful of their kind and one non-lycanthrope so that all the voices in the city can be heard, but this council is more for appearance then usefulness.   After the council come the Guild masters, they can become a part of the council if they murder a lycanthrope of the same type as them. So after guild masters come everybody else and anybody can rise to become a guild master through a challenge.

Defences

The Cities population has very little to fear from outside forces because of the power the Lord of Blood has at his disposal in addition to the thousands of lycanthropes that are within the city which can only be hurt by silver weapons the city would be very hard to take by force.

Industry & Trade

Trade: Trade-in Weepingfall is complicated especially in the dock ward. When a ship arrives in Weepingfall the Thorns welcomes it and employs lycanthrope guilds mostly werebears and wereboar since those guilds are the most numerous in the Dock Ward. These guilds take the cargo that is on the ship to the docks where wererats transport them through sewers. If you don't send your cargo with the ratings then the other Lycanthropic guilds wude steel the goods you were transporting. But the sewers aren't completely safe from other lycanthrope guilds, wererats try to take the goods and deliver them to the market or store them for themselves. If the goods reach the market the Vistani sell them onwards. The Vistani also bring their own goods in through the land route (they don't have as much trouble).

Infrastructure

The city has the following infrastructure. Sewers, warehouses, bridges, cobblestone rodes, shipyards, a castle, a clocktower, catacombs, a port, and a market.

Assets

All normal equipment can be bought at triple the price in the player's handbook. All magic items have been bought and are lost in the streets of Weepingfall but 1d3 healing potions can be bought at the market along with 1d4 scrolls of spells up to 3 leveled.

Guilds and Factions

It wud be impossible to list all the lycanthropic guilds and small alliances within the city so here will the main alliances be listed (most guilds are listed on the map). these are the strongest alliances within Weepingfalls' endless guilds.   The Iron Pelts The Howlers The Stripes The Blood Alliance The Silver Hunters  The Rat Folk The Ironteeth Alliance

History

When the city was founded seven lords ruled over each district and one king how ruled them all. Some way about a thousand years after the founding of the city the Lord of Blood came and took control of the city this also created the Dark Domain which the city is in now. After that, the city has mostly remained the same with rebellions and other unrest happening every so often.

Tourism

Most visitors that come here are lured by the cities legendary reputation, or by the Thorns and the Vistani. No Visitor has ever left the city.

Architecture

It depends on what ward you are in. The slums and the dock ward have run-down houses and sagging buildings, the blood and stone ward have stone houses with blu slate roofs the though some roofs are red and brown. The market is full of colorful and abandoned stalls. The Thorne Ward is full of parks and trees and there are not a lot of houses and if there are these are wooden cabins or hunting lodges.

Geography

the city is mostly surrounded by forest and mist on all sides through a river runs thru the city from the flaming mountains. A small mountain is in the north of the city where the castle's Bloodwall resides.
