1st Day of First Seed

"In the beginning, there was naught but the swirling voids of Chaos. The currents and drafts of this energy were unconstrained and irregular. Chaos reveled in itself, his existence danced and meld as he saw fit. That is until he had done all that could be done, he had twist and turned every fabric of Existence until there was no order to do it in until he had copied himself. From this sequence, he had created Order."
~The First Tale of Existence~     At the dawn of Reality there were only four entities; Chaos, Order, Light, and Dark. These entities, known as the Ether, could not function without the other, yet they found themselves in constant struggles of supremacy. They only thing they could cooperate on, was the creation of beings like themselves in order to create a more meaningful Existence; Earth, Water, Air, and Fire. These four entities came to be known colloquially as the Empyrean. Unlike the Ether, these four were much more willing to cooperate and in doing so they made the physical realm, and eventually Life, the Qalani & Kanoia.   Before the Kanoia, the Empyrean created the Qalani, an advanced civilization of untold power. But the Qalani are long dead, all that remains of their civilization are the ruins of expansive cities and powerful artifacts. From the sturdiest Dwarf to the most festive Sylph, all Kanoia rely on expanding their influence and being able to capture and study what was left by the Qalani. These tasks will not be easy however, no matter how well researched or powerful you and your allies are there will always be others attempting to gain these treasure first or just to take it from you...   The songs and stories sung by your descendants will echo from hearth to hall for generations to come. That is, if you have the Essence to be worthy of those songs. Essence is the defining trait of the Kanoia, the amount is what separates them from monsters and beasts. But the heroes and adventurers are entirely different, they are... more. They are the ones who decide not only the fate of those around them, but the very world itself.   The Dawn of Ishtora is a primeval setting on the world of Ishtora. Civilizations and the people, Kanoia, who make them up are just starting to flourish. Players dictate where to explore and what rumors to chase. Whether they will live their final days dying in some dingy hole or ascending from the physical plane into Divinity. Whether they will settle on a small farm with their spouse and children or to establish a kingdom that will stand the test of time.
