Ishtar

Ishtar is a world that has a long, long history filled with many beings growing up and coming of age or returning to the dust. It is as much as a product of it's inhabitants as it is of natural forces. Great mountains ranges raised as walls. forests and deep and dark as oceans. The world moves on as its inhabitants shape it.   The greatest hand in shaping this world are a group of elder godlike beings who use it as part terrarium and part laboratory. The wheel like collection of islands that frame the great Ocean are the result of a test long long ago by them. They watch new races spring into being and walk among them, and when need be cull them from the face of the planet.   This is a fantastic world that serves as a willing slate for all who live in it to create their own stories. Powers comes and go, but the world will always be there.
