Praes Aesterna College

A college of various schools, located in Ara Alcor, in Caldrius.
Praes Aesterna College as it's currently called is considered to be one of the primary seats of advanced education in Annakar, and perhaps all of Isan. The college offers a variety of courses and educational programs itself, and also administrates several schools. These schools include:

• Gran'dshar School of the Arcane
• Kannemog Martial Academy
• Antaurah Eqecis School of Alchemy
• Arcadian School of Divine Arts

History

The school was founded in 867 PA, over 1,200 years ago. Founded and re-founded several times in the past millenia, it was at first based out of Elenvauldt. Around the year 812 PA, a powerful mage erected a grand structure nearby through magical means. This structure was originally utilized to serve as a stronghold for the preparation of soldiers, both martial and magical, for a great war in the north. After several decades, this structure was no longer needed for its intended purpose and was renovated to serve as an educational campus. The faculty of Praes Aesterna quickly took advantage of the opportunity to utilize the campus, welcomed by the mage who created it. Eventually, Praes Aesterna College was given ownership of the campus in full. It is unknown what became of the mage.
