Meridian, ruler of The Divine Primacy of Arcadia, is a supremely powerful demonic entity who reigns the continent of Annakar from his seat in Ovium. He holds the title of God-Ruler Ascendant, possessing absolute authority over the Primacy.

Personal history

Meridian is believed to be one of the Gods of Creation, existing before time was counted, and perhaps time itself. He claims to be the Heir of Isan, the entirety of the material plane being his birthright.
Though Meridian was known before the War of Ascendancy, his worshipers were few and far between, and his influence subtle at most. It is believed that Meridian was somehow kept restrained in his own plane, existing in a greatly weakened state, likely for millennia, if not since the beginning of time. It is unknown why or how this occurred, and The Old Gods, mostly absent in modern times, seem to hold no answers. Some might theorize that the sheer reach and power of the Divine Primacy - and its cruel methods to which it enforces Meridian's law - are the answer, but surviving histories detail much more foul and seemingly more powerful entities that were not held at bay in such a fashion.
