Wraiths

Wraiths are the spirits of individuals whose will to live overcame death, had an oath unfulfilled, were cursed, or were victims of magic gone awry. They are creatures who typically take the form of spirits or suits of armor, with little to no capacity to recall the means of their death nor the realm of the afterlife. However, those ripped from death through magical means find existence to be painful and may slowly descend into violence or madness if unreturned to their rest.   Without this touching others gives a slight resistance and sensation of feeling for others, but any firmness to touch passes through. Wraiths while unharmed by mundane weapons will flinch or be stunned briefly to bullets or weapons passing through them. Magic can “slay” them, taking double damage from such sources. It will scatter the life energy to the afterlife forcibly.

Eye Color: Please check the “Afterlife” document for which of the two you have.
Age Expectancy: Wraiths can exist up to 400 years.
  Starting Stat Bonus: Characters choose one point based on the wraith’s previous profession in life (chosen at character creation).
  Adventure Trait: Can solidify and turn corporeal for 15 minutes every 4 hours.
  Sanity: Certain environments and spells (such as the reject school) will affect a spirit negatively and destabilize their grip on reality. Wraiths may hallucinate or temporarily lose form and become a wisp-like until they recover.
