Elves
Elven history describes a time period where they were the primary enemies to Rōsia. In a sweeping motion to distinguish themselves from other kingdoms, Elves tapped directly into the world’s Magic in order to infuse the energies into their own bodies and change their appearance. While the ritual itself was successful, their armies were defeated upon the plains where the world was to end two eons later. Dispersed or assimilated into Rōsia Magocracy, most Elves are sensitive to Magic and the swiftly changing energies of the Wilds. They feel minor physical reactions, such as a tingling sensation, in the presence of magical foci.
Regional Populations: Spread throughout the entirety of the world, Elves form one of the three foundations of civilization (alongside Humans and Oni).
Age Expectancy: Elves reach adulthood at 18, and are venerable at 150 years old. However, they can live up to 200 years.
Starting Stat Bonus: Elves also gain 1 Point in either Magic or Fame due to their alluring appearance.
Adventure Trait: Due to their sensitivity to the flow of the Winds, Elves can feel the pulse of concentrated energy from enchanted items or active focuses, with ten minutes they can determine the type. This can include ancient Rosian devices still holding a charge.
Magic Level 4 Elf Mages have training in a kingdom’s capital or as an exile due to the limited number of teachers.
