Centurians
Centurions are mortals who have shed their flesh in favor of carved stone, hard leather, and intricate metal frames. Some retain their tactile sense (touch), but many are numbed by the changes to their body. They become a sentient construct with an intact mortal mind. The right of becoming a Centurion can only be approved by the Emperor’s Right Hand, as the process is both expensive and delicate; therefore it is typically reserved for those who have proved themselves as ferocious fighters, successful artists, or those in high favor with the Emperor.
Regional Populations: Centurions hail from the lands of Taiyusha, where they are created for their given hosts on the continent. However, they are known to occasionally migrate or flee to elsewhere.
Age Expectancy: A Centurion Suit will generally function for up to 100 years. However, rumors persist of older models hidden in the world.
Starting Stat Bonus: Centurions start with one point in Fame or Manpower (chosen at Character Creation).
Adventure Trait: Centurions do not require food or drink, though can be modified to enjoy the sensations of food.

The right of becoming a Centurion can only be approved by the Emperor’s Right Hand.
