Mount Saar
In the summer the mountain is wreathed in cloud, and in the winter it is white with snow. Trees surround it, and a lake so placid it could be made of glass. If you sit quietly enough, you can almost hear the world breathing.
Geography
It is a stony peak on the edge of the northern republic. Its higher slopes are jagged and barren, composed only of black stone. But its lower slopes are covered in conifers, and at its base there is a large and placid lake. There is also a small lake halfway up the mountain in a rocky basin fed by a deep cold spring. It is on the edge between the trees and the high slopes.
Fauna & Flora
It is partially covered in conifers, and supports a wide range of birds, and small herbivores and predators. The lakes are also rich in fish.
Natural Resources
Game, lumber, and fish.
