Public Agenda
A mercenary group founded by children who lost their homes and families in war, the Lion Monarchs aim to provide necessary force when and only when maintaining peace calls for unavoidable fights. It also maintains several garrisons around some settlements such as Brillam, serving as a site for establishing permanent relationships with such settlements and providing protection.
History
The Lions began as a group of survivors from the civil war in eastern Micleta thirty years ago, when children who lost their homes and families joined together to gather food, fight off threats, and sometimes take resources from others by force. By the time the civil war ended, the children had become a group of fearsome young adults that no one would dare oppose.
After the war ended, the survivors left the ruined eastern Micleta to look for a peaceful place they could fit in. They soon learned that they spent too much of their youths fighting and were too battle-worn, malevolent and suspicious of everything to live in societies where harmony and trust are prevalent values.
In the end, the survivors decided to become a band of mercenaries, naming themselves the Lion Monarchs, a gang that would offer force where it was needed in order to maintain or restore peace.
