Iotune

Created by the Tricelum, the origins of magic, by accident; Iotune is a world built upon thousands of years of history. Gods, ages, and empires, have all come and gone; the remnants of which are ripe for the picking by those with the proper motivation.   Three major continents are known to the peoples of Iotune: Cayana, a fertile land in the centre where most worth while people hail from. Lustaria, a frozen waste to the north. Droica, a barren volcanic island to the south.   In an unusual state of peace, Cayana is currently lead by the Cayanan Concillium. Composed of the Lords and Ladies of each major town, and lead by Lady Charlotte Hornraven in the city of Emelle, they strive to bring peace and order to a once oppressed people. However, out in the wilderness, one can never know who or what may be working to bring chaos back into power.   Travelling merchants are forced to avoid bands of orcs and gnoll packs, most sailors don't go too far out to sea so as to not be seduced by merfolk, those attempting to reach the highest peak of the Sun Top Mountains must first be granted passage by griffins and choose a path which doesn't interfere with any dragons.
