Inyolotli Pillar in the Sundered Cosmos

Long ago all the land within the Veil was united as one Great Pillar drawn into the world from the great and terrible chaos of the Deeps. There the Divines fostered life which became great civilizations, but this Era of Delight was not to last. Pride, greed, passivity and neglect tore a rift between Divines and Mortals and the Great Pillar was sundered. Now many pillars lie within the bounds of the mysterious Veil and civilizations have risen again from the broken pieces, guided by their various Divines.
This is a world fraught with divine conflicts and mortal dreams, all pursuing their ends. Throughout it all the Echo suffuses the pillars with magic. Some mortals use the Echo in ways guided by their Divines others have sought to find ways to wield the power of the Echo without the aid of the Divine. These pursuits have rendered civilizations where magic is commonplace fueling day to day industry, powering magnificent flying vessels and making day to day life more pleasant.
