Ta-Ulak favors the Martian people because of their ferocity in battle and their devotion to their families. He gives blessing or direct aid to Martians in battle or to those who are struggling in the wilderness. His protection usually comes in the form of an enhancement allowing the individual to survive rather than divinely fixing problems. According to the stories he has been known to grant harder scales, supernaturally sharp claws or teeth, or stronger wings. Those who receive his blessing are still responsible for their own survival.
