The Plague

Summary

The Plague is what got them all trapped on the island in the first place! Ok, so nobody believes it's myth. But it is shhh. The truth is Adira wanted the world for herself so she made up that a plague had taken over the world outside, and everyone was dying, and the worlds were crumbling, and she had to protect the river! So the walls were erected, and everyone stayed inside the walls ever since.

Plague is pretty gory, and gross. Sure they write about it. It's this world's zombies.

In Art

Paintings of humans infected with what looks like a plague - eyes gaunt, skin sallow, burn marks and scratches all along their skin. It's good stuff.
