Naqi

The Naqi tribe has not been around for long - basically ten years only. In fact, they shouldn't even exist. They are the product of an imitation potion - one that was meant to change them to match everyone in the Inqaa kingdom. Instead, it changed them to be unlike anything anyone had ever seen before - a mixture of all the different races in the world, skin colours blurring together to paint a mosaic along their bodies. Some grew large, some grew small, all had eyes blacker than the night sky. Their changes depended on who they were before taking the potion. The potion stripped them of their abilities, and gave them more struggles - like the fact that the sun burns them whenever they come in contact with it, and the added inconvenience of not being able to enter a-Shjar for fear of their brain imploding from the truth and terror of what they did to themselves. Not a good life. They live under the ground, only coming out at night, to hunt for food, staying close to home because there are other dangers to be wary of. They have nothing much, but they have each other. They cannot reproduce - they barely know what they are; they wouldn't want to bring more of them into the world.   Well, they know what they were before - a bunch of different beings, from different worlds, intent on taking down the evil that ruled the land. But they got caught, and were banished, and set to become blood banks for the malik's evil plans instead of fighting him. But the leader of them, a man named Kofi Abel, found an opportunity to recreate the potion the malik had made, a way to get back into Inqaa, and a second chance at taking the malik down. So he took it. Of course he took it. He wasn't gonna give his blood to this evil man. A haris of the malik had brought a vial of the potion, to entice them to come back. Really is was a trick. There was only enough for one being to change. The malik intended for it to cause strife in the village of the banished rebels & Fidayan. And it did. The Fidayans could See it was going to be trouble, but Kofi didn't agree. He told them his plant to recreate the potion. He thought he could do it. He made the potion, believing it would work, because it had to. And it did. For a short while. The rebel group he was banished with believed with him. They had revenge on their mind, and the Fidayans got on their nerves - talking about trouble, and bad ideas. The world was going to hell. They could either sit idly by and wait for the flames to consume them, or step up and fan the flames enough that it'd change everything once they were doused. They all chose the latter. Life in that village was no life to live anyway, no matter how long the Fidayans had been living there. So they each downed a vial of potion, and rejoiced when it took. They each changed, and waited until the haris came back to see them for some blood.   But before that could happen, the potion took a turn for the worse. It began with Kofi, and spread like wildfire through the group. Until eventually, they were all beasts of varying sizes and colours, and had no choice but to escape the blistering sun and find solace in the cool caves. When the haris came back, the Fidayans told them they didn't know what had happened, just that the group had left, and never returned. The haris searched the island, high and low, but never found the hideout of the Naqi. They left it alone, because they couldn't survive the elements, or the dangers of the island, and if they weren't dead already, they soon would be.   The Naqi lived down under for all those years, and the while stewing, with only one thing on their collective minds - revenge. And they will get it one day. Their morals are slightly grey, as they've been dealt a terrible card, that they don't deserve. They don't think so anyway. But they're here now, and they will wreak havoc on all life forms that cross their paths. It is practice, for when they finally meet Saleh, al Malik, al Ealia. For when they finally strip him down to nothing, and stamp him into the ground, one and for all.
