The Swampdwellers

People who settled in the swamps west of the windy fields have strayed from The Great farmers. They have their own version of Spiritworship, which focuses on spirits in nature and different rituals. They also have a less materialistic way of living, where cleansing your own spirit and making peace with the spirits around you is important. There aren't any big Swampdweller cities, but there are a few larger towns, although most of them live in smaller-hut communities. The swampdwellers also look quite drastically different from other people, since magic from old ruins seems to change living things in some way. People's skin has started shifting to a more green or yellow color and a lot of people have likened them to lizards, although people rarely have any extreme "lizard features''. It's mostly small things, and their minds don't seem changed at all.

Traditions

Bodying-When hard times fall upon a village, the people come together and make "bodies" for lost spirits out of different materials, to get on the spirits' good sides and "borrow" some luck and magic in front of them. This is also done under different celebrations to honor spirits.   Sometimes you put out meat stew in a bowl for the creatures and spritbeings of the swamp, in order to please them.

Religion

They have their own version of Spiritworship, which focuses on spirits in nature and different rituals. Swampdwellers worship “Elder Spirits, who are a core part of nature and its functions, and are less physical than other spiritbeings. Swampdwellers believe that through rituals and worship of nature in its basic form, one can connect to nature on a personal level, through the Elder spirits. This is the goals of most religious swampdwellers, who spend a lot of energy in festivals and traditions Culture(food, clothing, arts)
