Stormhill

A packed and advanced city built on top of a giant hill, famous for its many high towers, equipped with windmills, and the many layers of high walls surround the city. There's also one long wall outside the city, built to protect all the farms on the hillside, outside the main city. Increasing use of modern technology, Oldfolk’s Stuff and wind power has led to people outside and inside the city doubting its leaders and the use of Oldfolks stuff has led to increasing Seeker attacks.

City Details

-The Founding pillars   A city as advanced as stormhill needs a proper government to uphold it. Therefore, the founding pillars are a large group consisting of many branches and ministers, dealing with different issues. Democracy is not as big of a thing as in Branchville, but since most people can become ministers, it's not considered a dictatorship. A lot of groups are critical of the government however, as they fear they'll make the same mistakes as the old folk.     -The Arrow carried by the wind   This is the military of Stormhill, and one of the most feared combat units in all of Inonaa. These men have access to technology based on Oldfolks´s stuff. Their main weapon is the Stormbow, a crossbow enhanced with technology. This weapon allows them to take out enemies with one shot, even if it's many miles away. The soldiers usually stay inside the walls and their guardtowers, but they will venture out if necessary. They also have fold-out blades and grappling hooks. They dress in red robes and wear white masks and wear flat straw hats.     -Architecture   The houses of Stormhill are tightly packed, stone houses with colorful brick tile roofs. Small alleyways and paths lead to all places, from everywhere in the city. Houses are packed ontop of each other and the streets are always crowded. There are a few high towers in the city, reaching far above the other houses. These all have different purposes, but a few of them are being used as giant windmills. This, however, is impopular, as using the wind for power is usually frowned upon.     -Defense   The seekers seem to be drawn to Stormhill because of its use of ancient artifacts, which the seekers seem keen to destroy. Because of this, the city has to have a strong defense. The walls of Stormhill are higher and stronger than the walls of any other city, and they are all manned with ballistas, which soldiers who practice magic use. Empowering makes the ballistas easier to fire and the arrows are also infused with magic to deal more damage on impact. The walls are also manned by soldiers, and holes in the walls allow guards to stab any Seekers trying to climb into the city. The outer wall is more heavily guarded.     -Riots   Stormhill is a very technically advanced city with a strong military , but a lot of that was achieved using methods which a lot of people consider unethical and tradition-breaking, like the use of artifacts and wind power, resulting in regular seeker attacks. As a result of this, groups have formed a rise against the use of technology, which brought the downfall of the ancients a long time ago. So the city is plagued by riots and fighting     -Archeology and Technology   A lot of Stormhills advanced success comes from the utilization of Old Folks Stuff. Fire, steam and lighting power big machines which produce heat and power for logistics and other technology. This comes at a prise, as human tissue and is used to lead these powers, and the finding of old machines is difficult. While there seems to be a large number of artifacts to uncover, Seekers provide adequate guards. That's why the city hires strong mercenaries to help them find these things.   -The Forbidden Bounty A store owned by Matilda Fogsbear, which sells a lot of magical items, some of which are legal and some are not. The store is a competitor with "Grandma's Drinks", a local potion shop as the two battle for the magic intrested customers.
