Oldfolk’s Stuff

Items made by the old people, usually found in ruins in the sand sea near the cursed middle. The functions and magic of these items can almost never be explained and are therefore unique. Some of these are more powerful than others, and those are of course worth more. A lot of people spend their time scavenging the ruins and of the old folk with the hope of finding an artifact which could help them, or in a lot of cases, their struggling village. Oldfolk’s stuff is usually sold to bigger cities or important individuals for very large sums of money. Seekers seem drawn to these things, and attack settlements which use them.

Some oldfolks stuff that’s been discovered:

SIGHTROD-A hollow metal pipe with glass in it that lets you see far
SUN LANTERN- A lantern that can capture the sun's light and use it later
MIRROR STONE- A pair of flat rocks that are connected, meaning whatever is written on one stone will show up on the other
FLAME BOX-A small metal flask which can summon a small flame at any time. Useful for people who carry fire, and need a reliable source of it.
WEATHER DISC-A round disc, that shows the weather of the coming 10 days
STORMWHEEL-A turbine, with a rotating lever, which, when spun, generates lighting in small amounts. Useful for people who carry
GRAPPLING HOOK-A glove that shoots a chain with a hook when Empowered.
POWERPLATES-Two plates of an unknown metal, that pull themselves towards each other with an invisible force when charged with magic. Useful in machinery
SMOKETUNNEL-A machine which turns water into smoke using magic energy
CRYSTAL ROPE-A rope that, while not actually being made of crystal, can lead magical energy short distances. Used in machines in Stormhill. Is made of Silver, Clearrock and Organic matter from humans.
