Humans are one of the most numerous species in the known Rift. While many other species have biological advantages to the individual, as collectively humans are the most successful species known, having bred like rabbits to inhabit near every space and society. Every detail about a human, from their average age, average weight, and customs, depends on where they're from. Humans are so prevalent that their ethnicities are often used to describe other species, such as one saying that a Certain Makassi has features that resemble a Klaoanal (Meta: Senegalese Person).

While humans are found practically everywhere, in practically every race and ethnicity, some areas are known for having higher densities of real-world ethnicities than others. Since categorizing human race and ethnicity by the culture and location on Terra is clearly not possible here, most races and ethnicities are named after branches of the Tzaran Streams where they outnumber most others. So what we know is the Germanic peoples are Kwewuanal, either named for their Branch, or their branch named for them. Either way, that is the one place you are assured to find humans are usually pale-skinned with lighter hair colours, and brown & blue eyes.

Civilization and Culture

History

Humans came from an early space-faring society that was quick to colonize its surrounding systems, despite their inability to use the Tzaran Streams. At some point in ages long past, their home system and first colonies were destroyed, leaving no trace of original human culture. But by that point, humans had already assimilated themselves into near every interstellar civilization around.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

Humans are capable of reproducing with most other organic humanoid species, generally producing hybrids that lean one way or the other.

While customs, traditions, and such will depend on the native culture of said human character, most major powers will have a healthy mix of all real-world ethnicities. Unless otherwise specified, that should be assumed for any civilization with a decent number of humans. While in World Anvil, human ethnicities and those of nonhuman, for example Mul-Zamain is listed as looking vaguely Senegalese (Yes I know that isn't a specific ethnic group, but for most thinking of a Senegalese person will invoke certain images), will be described with real-world descriptions, that obviously wouldn't make sense in the context of a story.
