Festival of the Feast

Sanders' Cove's most famous yearly event, with participants coming from several of the neighboring kingdoms.

Execution

The festival involves two days of a street fair with merchants from all the surrounding lands making an appearance.
The highlight of the festival is on Day 3, with the annual Thieves Bounty event.

Thieves Bounty is a day long sporting event, that takes place across the entire town. Decorated goal posts are placed at each of the cardinal entrances to the town, including the docks to the West. The objective is to take a 40lb slab of meat from your current location to the farthest goal. Contestants are registered and compete individually, but can form alliances with other players. The event starts at sunrise, and continues until either the goal is reached, or sunset, whichever occurs first.

Observance

The festival takes place the week prior to the beginning of traditional winter. Snow is possible, but uncommon during the event.
