Alnabe

Scum among scum.
Banditry is a risky bet when sandwiched between so many conflict starved armies.
And yet these curious highwaymen maintain their post unbothered by the full might of the Lord Descendant..

Structure

Nanken Almoor

The head of the Alnabe, who takes the title of "King Rainmaker", since he claims the Road of Kings as his territory. The official head of the 4 Utilia and holder of the Shard of Glory (Unleke ba Tumi). Real name abandoned upon taking up this mantle.

Utilia

The head of the four corners of Alraseyd. They are in charge of the day-to-day banditry and collections that they must pay tithes with to the Nanken Almoor. The Utilia split up Alraseyd into four geographical quadrants ranging in about the same surface area, although the population and wealth varies. Each employs their own men, tactics, clothing, banners - anything; as long as Nanken gets his money.

Sayjoon

The sayjoon is the everyday worker of the Alnabe. Lacking a formal ranking structure, a Utilia will assign individual Sayjoons authority over the others in certain situations or in the long term as enforcers and spies. The rank is filled with cut throats and professionals, each equally thirsty to get themselves in good with a Utilia.

Culture

The Alnabe believe that the world is for the taking. Furthermore, they believe that not taking it is akin to asking to be instead taken by someone else.
This leads to a culture where there is no trust, just results - a Utilia will have 4 people do the same job in case one defects the cause, one dies, or one succeeds but manages to get himself killed before he can return.

Assets

The Alnabe boast a healthy stockpile of heavy and light weapons, and due to failed skirmishes on the part of the Rangers, they also have a small assortment of magical weaponry. The Alnabe are also believed to be the third richest faction in the desert, should their mismatched wealth be combined in one place.

History

The Alnabe existed in a limited fashion before the introduction of foreigners in the desert.
After foreigners were becoming somewhat common, a small generation of disillusioned men felt low enough to turn to banditry in order to spite the new presence in their lands.
Despite having every reason and resource to, no major faction has seen to the thorough destruction of the Alnabe.

"Indue? Hana, kama sutar Alnabe."
