Inach

A world I've been working on as long as I can remember. While the primary tech level is the beginning of the industrial age, magic still plays an important part. Magic is done mostly through the use of sigils which require some sort of godly essence to run.

The world is mostly made up of the 5 material planes, which consist of the 4 elemental planes and Inach which is a "manmade" plane. There are also the 2 Immaterial planes, the Aetheral, and the Ethereal. The Aethereal is the primary home of the ever-changing pantheon of gods. The Ethereal is an empty void world that is supposedly home to the Architects, The creators of the current universe, although no one has seen them in a long time.

The races are the Ori-et, a hive mind mushroom folk; The Hewits, A small bird people who's plumage is an ever-changing rainbow; The Auens a lizardfolk who could withstand the hottest blast of fire; and the Koruda, an aquatic race that is more akin to an octopus than a fish. There are also the "artificial" races of the Bouda and humans. The bouda are a huge race that due to the loss of their ability to reproduce, are always roughly 4k years old and inhabit artificial bodies.
