Duskendale
Duskendale is a small mining and foresting Village nestled in the Roinian Pass between the Northern and Southern ridges of The Roinian Mountains.
Defences
The village is surrounded by large wooden walls. On its southern edge there is a gatehouse guarding all passage from the south and across the river Wear.
Industry & Trade
The main industries in Duskendale are forestry and mining. About 18 miles north out of town is Roughcut Mine where a majority of the towns residents work and mine gems and obsidian banded limestone. Trees are commonly harvested from Tallpine forest also located north of town lying between Duskendale and Roughcut.
History
The area was first settled by the Coyle family around 3rd Era, 1712. It started as a modest foresting homestead for the Coyle family but around 3rd Era, 1823 Corwood Coyle discovered gem fragments while panning the Wear. Eventually the family was able to trace these fragments up the tributaries flowing off the Northern Roinian Ridge and soon after Roughcut mine was established.

Duskendale is located in the Roinian pass. A large valley that lies in the The Roinian Mountains between the Northern and Southern ridges.
