Fresh off the boat
General Summary
On the 18th day of the Divine Moon in the 50th year of the era of cooperation, we find 4 individuals simply waiting in line, waiting for something that they don't know will change them for some time. Yoji, Dahlia, Malik, and Virahel(and Quackers) were ushered in to obtain their adventurer's license where they meet Scrap, an alchemist who has fallen on dire times. After a series of tests, during which Yoji was injured in a fight with a spectral bear and was graciously saved by Dahlia after receiving a purely internal wound. Upon the defeat of this bear, the party makes their way to find a nice meal in the form of a sausage sandwich with caramelized onions and peppers from a local street vendor. While eating the party has found themselves at the business they are to work out of during their evaluation period, the Twin Moons tavern owned by an old moon elf simply named Barkeep. Here they accepted a job to go mining for Phinneas Mountainblood in the wake of a mysterious iron shortage in the lower commercial district. Upon meeting with Phinneas and obtaining some extra supplies the party made its way onto the road with a rented Axe-beak named Maple Syrup to carry their burdens and equipment. on the third evening of their 3-day journey, the group is ambushed by a rogue squad of goblin scouts formally from the Viresian Legion. Upon dispatching the attackers, the party disposes of the bodies and trudges their way to the mining site, a hidden grotto cave behind a waterfall just as the sun rises and sparkles on the water.
