Erudite Blades

The Erudite Blades are a mercenary group who seek the discovery of new knowledge and the protection of rare artifacts and mystic information.
Due to their nomadic nature, their agents are often for hire to protect regions, guide travelers or explore new lands. They store their great depository of knowledge at Meridith for uses unknown to outsiders.
Blades are almost always well versed in the topic of their choosing (whether it be magic, history or a particular creature) and often can offer insight to many situations. Many seek them out when they venture to new areas, both for their combat prowess and knowledge. 
Adventurers who are part of the Erudite Blades may be seeking a specific artifact, creature or tome. Some are on the constant lookout for new experience and seek to document the unknown. All Blades are especially interested in any knowledge surrounding the Harbingers.
